Flight Planning Application Guide Pix4DCapture

Pix4DCapture works best for you who fly with an Iphone or an Android. If you are using an Ipad we recommend DJI Ground Station Pro.

Step 1 – Plan mission

Click on New plan to create a new mission.

Choose Grid and then press Next

Step 2 – Map your area

Tap to put a polygon on the map. Drag the green dots to your borders and press on the small + to add another point. You can move the polygon to where ever you want. That means you can plan in the office and then use it in the fields.

You can Press on a line and turn the lines around to change the flight course angle to optimize the flight time or to change where the mission starts and ends.

Step 3 – Check settings

Check your settings and match them to your mission aim. 

To access the settings press on the arrow down to the right in the map.

Check the Drone Guide to see which settings that fit you best. 

In Pix4D you also have an advanced setting to set your camera to: Auto, Sunny or Cloudy. Use this feature if it is really Sunny or really Cloudy.

Step 4 – Save your mission

Saveyour mission so you know how you did last time when you are going to fly again.
